Can I eat ready made cheese cakes in pregnancy ?

Answer

I know how confusing it can be working out what you can and can't eat during pregnancy. Shop bought cheese cake is usually fine to eat because the cheese is pasteurised. To make sure, it might be helpful to call the manufacturer and enquire whether the particular product you're considering is suitable to eat when you're pregnant.

 

Home made cheese cakes may also be suitable, but again, check with whoever has made it that the cheese used was pasteurised. Baked cheesecakes should be fine.
