Question
Can I freeze your Heinz Cook at Home sauces and pasta stars once they have been cooked and if yes how would you defrost or reheat them?
Answer
Heinz Cook at Home products are all suitable for home
freezing. If you have cooked a meal using Cook at Home products and
all other ingredients are also suitable for freezing, first make
sure you cool the recipe as quickly as possible before transferring
to a suitable container. You could use an ice cube tray or plastic
pots with lids. If you are using an ice cube tray, once the food is
frozen, you can pop the cubes out and transfer them to a freezer
bag. It's a good idea to label the bag or pot with the recipe name
and the date and ensure the food is stored for no more than a
month.
Make sure the recipe is completely defrosted before reheating to
piping hot, stirring well to ensure there are no hot spots.
Remember, it's not safe to refreeze previously frozen food.
