HELLO. My baby has just turned 6 months and I was wondering if he could have adult Heinz soup, as i had a bowl and gave him a taste and he loved it. x

I'm really glad your little one enjoyed his first taste of Heinz soup! However, adult food is not suitable for babies, as it does not have the right balance of nutrients. For example, there may not be enough fat to help them grow and there may be too much salt for their body to process at such a young age.

 

So for now, feel free to enjoy Heinz soup yourself but wait until your son is over 12 months before offering him any adult foods.
