Question
I am unable to breast feed, what should I do?
Answer
If you are unable or choose not to breast feed, infant or follow
on formula is the only suitable alternative to breast milk. Your
baby will need breast milk or formula milk until at least 12 months
old. Cows' milk is not suitable as a drink until your baby is a
year old because it contains too much salt and protein, and not
enough iron and other nutrients, to meet your baby's needs.
