Question
My son is 8 months old but he will not eat his dinners. He will eat toast and his breakfast and dessert jars and boxes, but he will only eat chips at dinner and he doesnt like his baby dinners. What can I do to get him to eat healthy dinners
Answer
Thanks for this question.
You're certainly not alone in having a little one who is a bit
fussy. Many children will develop fussy eating behaviours which can
be frustrating for you. Try to offer a wide variety of foods for
meals and snacks and try not to show you're worried if he
rejects what you offer. Just calmly take it away
and avoid offering a treat food for if he eats his
dinner.
Bear in mind that when offering new foods, it can take at
least 8 separate occasions before your little one will accept the
new taste, so persevere.
