Question
My baby of 8 months has food allergies but I don't know yet what he is allergic to. What kind of foods normally cause allergies in babies ?
Answer
There are several foods that commonly cause allergies, such as
milk, eggs, wheat, gluten, nuts, sesame seeds, soya, lupin, celery,
celariac, mustard, sulphur dioxide / sulphites, fish,
shellfish and molluscs.
There is some advice in my article here but
I would advise you visit yout GP who can arrange for tests to
identify those foods most likely to cause allergy for your
little one.
Good luck and do let us know how you get on.
