Question
What age can my baby hold a rusk and eat it?
Answer
Babies develop at different rates so some will be able to hold
and feed themselves finger foods from about 7 months, while others
may take a bit longer. We think that most children will be able to
feed themselves a rusk by about 9 months of age. You might want to
offer half a rusk to start with so it's easier for little hands to
hold.
Farley's rusks are a perfect texture for those new to finger
foods as they dissolve easily in the mouth but don't crumble and
create a choking risk like some other biscuits might.
