Rice pudding

Ingredients

  • 100ml baby’s usual milk
  • 3 tbsp baby rice
  • A drop or two of vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp caster sugar

Method

1. Heat the milk in a pan until hot.

2. Add the baby rice and whisk until the mixture is smooth and lump free.

3. Remove from the heat. Add the vanilla and sugar and stir well.

4. Serve warm or cold.

Note: Image shows texture suitable for 4 - 6 months.

Heinz top tip

If you have a little more time to cook and want a more textured rice pudding, add a little cooked pudding rice and blend until the lumps are small and soft.
