Babies and toddlers are good at regulating their own intake of food and drinks. You may think they are eating very little, but chances are they are getting just the right amount.
Some of the signs your baby has had enough include:
- Crying or shouting
- Refusing to swallow
- Spitting food out
- Pushing the spoon or bowl away
- Refusing to open their mouth
- Turning their head away
- Shaking their head or saying no
- Gagging or retching
