INGREDIENTS
1 medium carrot (80g)
1 small parsnip (90g)
1 medium potato (120g)
50g broccoli florets
Small knob of butter
160G cooked roasted turkey, very finely chopped
1 tbsp cranberry sauce
METHOD
1 Peel the carrot, parsnip and potatoes; cut into small dice.
2 Cook in a small pan of boiling water for 10 minutes.
3 Add the broccoli and cook for a further 5 minutes or until all the steaming vegetables are tender.
4 Drain the steaming vegetables and return to the pan, add the butter and mash until all lumps are small and soft.
5 Add the turkey and cranberry and stir through.
6 Serve at room temperature or warmed.
7 If serving to a little one around 6 months old, puree all ingredients together with a stick blender until smooth. If serving to a 10-12 month old, chop the vegetables into batons, which your little one can eat as a finger food or chop them into 1cm pieces before cooking until soft.
