Apple Crumble
Apple Crumble
Ingredients
1 red-skinned apple (175g)
25g plain flour
2 tsp caster sugar
A pinch of ground cinnamon
7g knob of butter
Method
Peel, core and slice the apple, put in a microwaveable dish with 2 tbsp water.
Cover and microwave on 'high' for 2 mins or until the fruit is tender.
Break up with a spoon until mushy then spoon into the base of three small or one medium oven proof dish.
Place the flour, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl (or food processor) then rub in the butter until it looks like crumbs.
Scatter on top of the stewed apples.
Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes or until the crumble is golden. Cool.
Serve warm with a little natural yogurt spooned over.
