Fruit Kebabs


  • 4 bamboo skewers
  • 1 satsuma, peeled
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 8 strawberries, hulled and washed
  • 15ml orange juice
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon


  • Soak the bamboo skewers in water - this stops them burning. 
  • Break the satsuma into segments and thickly slice the banana into eight. 
  • Mix the orange juice and cinnamon together in a bowl, add the fruit and toss well to coat.
  • Preheat the grill to high. 
  • Thread the fruit onto the soaked skewers then place under the grill. 
  • Grill for 3-4 minutes, turning once or twice until lightly caramelized. 
  • Remove the fruit from the skewers, cool and serve.
  • For safety reasons, don't give your child the fruit on skewers.
