Honey Salmon Kebabs


  • 150g salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp clear honey
  • ½ tsp fresh root ginger, finely grated


  • Mix together the sesame seed oil, honey and ginger for the marinade, and put in a shallow dish.
  • Cut the salmon into 2cm cubes and put into the dish, spooning over the marinade. Leave for an hour, turning occasionally.
  •  Preheat the grill to high, and line the grill pan with foil. 
  • Thread the salmon cubes onto the wooden skewers and brush again with the marinade.
  • Grill for about 5 minutes each side, basting with the marinade. 
  • Remove the salmon from skewers and serve with boiled basmati rice and steamed vegetables.
