Apple & Mango Puree

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 mango
  • 100ml water

Method

Method on the stove
  • Peel the apple, remove the core and dice the apple in 1cm cubes
  • Slice 1/2 the mango by slicing just past the seed.
  • Slice the flesh without cutting the skin and scoop out the flesh
  • Put the diced apple and mango into a small pan with a lid
  • Add 100ml of cold water and bring to a boil
  • Cook for 5 minutes on medium temperature
  • Remove the pan from the heat source and put the fruit in a high cup
  • Blend the fruit with a stick blender or a fork to the desired consistency for you baby
  • Divide into portions suitable for your baby and keep frozen
Method in the microwave
  • Put all the cut fruit in a microwavable pot and add 100ml of water and a loose lid or perforated cling film
  • Put a loose lid or perforated cling film on the pot
  • Cook at 500W for 5 minutes
  • Blend the fruit with a stick blender or a fork to the desired consistency for you baby.
