INGREDIENTS

135 g lean minced beef
1/2 tsp olive oil
1/4 onion, peeled and finely chopped
1/2 carrot, peeled and finely chopped
200 g chopped tomatoes
30g cooked Heinz Baby pasta stars (15g per single portion, prepare according to pack instructions)

METHOD

1 Finely dice the vegetables.

2 Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, add the onion and cook for 1-2 minutes until softened.

3 Add the beef and cook over medium heat, stirring until beginning to brown.

4 Add the carrots and cook for 2 minutes.

5 Add 200 g of chopped tomatoes with water and bring to the boil, stirring.

6 Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the beef and vegetables are tender.

7 Mash or puree the mixture to suit your little one.

8 Cool slightly before serving with cooked Heinz Baby pasta stars
